People’s Security Academy delegation visits, conducts field surveys in South Korea

To carry out research activities for the National-level independent project "Building a People's Security Posture in Cyberspace to Ensure Security and Order in the New Era," and with the approval of the Ministry of Public Security's leadership, a delegation from the People’s Security Academy (PSA), led by Associate Professor Dr., Major General Tran Anh Vu, Vice President of the Academy, conducted a visit, field survey, and working session in South Korea from November 23 - 28, 2025.

According to the agenda, the delegation met and exchanged views with the Korean National Police Agency (KNPA) on issues related to ensuring cybersecurity in general and building a "people's security posture" in cyberspace in particular.

During the working session, Associate Professor Dr., Major General Tran Anh Vu expressed his sincere gratitude for the cooperation and support of the Korean National Police Agency. The Korean partners shared their experiences in cybercrime prevention; cybersecurity assurance; mechanisms to mobilize citizens and businesses to participate in cybersecurity; and expertise in managing cross-border service providers. 

The KNPA dispatched highly experienced experts to directly address and discuss the specific topics of interest to the delegation. On behalf of the delegation, the head of the mission thanked the KNPA for their coordination and support and extended a formal invitation for the Korean partners to visit the People's Security Academy at the earliest opportunity.

Within the framework of the program, the delegation also visited the Embassy of Vietnam in South Korea and worked with Seoul National University to further exchange experiences and collect information to serve the National-level independent research project.
