In celebration of the 80th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People’s Security Academy (PSA), and with the approval of the Academy’s Party Committee and Board of PSA President, the Faculty of Foreign Languages organized the "Vietnam - Laos Cultural Exchange" program on April 7, 2026. Colonel Nguyen Trung Kien, Vice President of the Academy, presided over the event.

The program was attended by representatives from various functional units, faculty members of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, and students of the Academy.

Speaking at the event, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Cao Thi Tuong Khanh, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, emphasized that the cultural exchange is a meaningful activity aimed at strengthening understanding and bonds between the younger generations of the two countries. It serves not only as an enriching playground but also as an opportunity for students to reflect on the great traditional friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, States, and peoples of Vietnam and Laos.

Within a unique cultural space, the program unfolded in a warm yet vibrant atmosphere, featuring traditional art performances including dance and music celebrating Vietnam-Laos friendship, choreographed and performed by students from both nations. The event also offered insights into history and culture through the introduction of traditional cuisine, famous landmarks, and prominent historical figures.

These activities contributed to collective bonding and fostered a sense of closeness and openness between Vietnamese and Laotian students, while providing practical experiences of each other’s cultural life. The enthusiasm and youthfulness of the students from both countries created an impressive tapestry of cultural fusion at the PSA.
