People’s Security Academy organizes mix – platformed seminar: 2026 student recruitment for study in India

On March 25, 2026, the People’s Security Academy (PSA), in coordination with the Training Department of the Ministry of Public Security, organized an online seminar titled "2026 student recruitment for study in India" The event was held at the Professional Training and Refresher Center of the High Command of Guard Force. Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hong Thai, Vice President of the Academy, presided over the seminar.

The seminar was attended by Senior Lieutenant Colonel Pham Van Trong, Vice Director of the Professional Training and Refresher Center of the High Command of Guard Force; Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Viet Ha, Deputy Head of Division 4, Training Department (Ministry of Public Security); Major Nguyen Duc Toi, Deputy Head of the Student Management Affairs of the Academy of Security Technology and Engineering; functional staff of the PSA; students of the Academy of Security Technology and Engineering; and the entire D57 intake currently participating in early-course training at the Professional Training and Refresher Center.

During the seminar, delegates focused on exchanging, discussing, and clarifying several key topics: the cooperative relationship between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and India in education and training; the characteristics of India’s country, people, culture, and academic environment; and the opportunities and challenges when applying for Indian scholarship programs.

Speaking at the seminar, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hong Thai emphasized that 2026 marks a significant milestone - the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and India.

He noted that India is a populous nation with a developed economy and is an active member of international peacekeeping activities. Currently, in the field of Information Technology, India serves as a global innovation hub with a diverse culture. Studying in India provides more than just an opportunity to enhance professional expertise; it is a chance for cultural exchange, language proficiency improvement, and the absorption of the "quintessence" of a partner nation. This directly contributes to building a high-quality workforce to serve the cause of national security and national development in the digital era.

Following the seminar agenda, delegates and students engaged in a lively and effective discussion, addressing questions regarding scholarships, policies, and regulations for studying in India in 2026.

Authorized by the Vice President of the Academy, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Hai Ly, Vice Chief of the Academy's Office, expressed gratitude to the delegates. She emphasized that the delegates' insights were invaluable, helping students understand the practical significance of the scholarship programs and ensuring their effective implementation at the PSA and other functional units of the Ministry of Public Security.
